Well, it looks like we will have to play dodgeball in the rain if we want to play at Spotts Park. Either that or we put a major beatdown on the local tennis players. That, of course, wouldn't be appropriate on many levels. I, for one, don't plan to wear the obligatory partially see-through, white, short-shorts anytime soon. Anyone else willing to take one for the team? I guess we'll leave dodgeball for another day.
Regarding this weeks outdoor excursion, 3:00Pm on Saturday. We will be meeting at Jesse H Jones Park. We will do a short workout, followed by a sport session, and end with an opportunity to explore the park which includes the following: Akokisa Indian Village, over six miles of paved trails, the number one rated playground in Houston, an old logging trail, cypree boardwalk trail and much more. There are also plenty of restrooms and picnic areas to relax.
Bring friends and family interested in a fitness adventure. We will meet in the main parking lot of the park.
